Curling is a wonderful sport that is fun to play and accessible for all ages. Our "Little Rocker" and "Wee Rocker" junior curling progam's goal is to help each child learn the game by providing them with a safe and fun environment.
Burlington Golf and Country Club Offers:
- Wee Rocker (WR) Curling, children ages 6-8
- This program requires 1 parent on the ice to assist the WR Coach and engage their child in the fun games. The parent is not required to have curling experience.
- Fee: $144 + HST
- Little Rocker (LR) Curling, children ages 8-13
- Fee: $192 + HST
- Bantam Curling, for children 13+ (runs based on guaged demand)
- Fee: $192 + HST
The WR and LR Junior Curlers take over our Curling Facility on Sundays between 2:00-3:30 PM, from the 3rd Sunday in October until the 3rd Sunday in March. The junior curlers start their weekend fun with some activities in our Curling Lounge to help them get familiar with the tools and rules of the sport. Then, they head out onto the ice to put what they learn into action.
If there's a Bantam league, they will have ice time between 11:45 AM -1:45 PM.
To sign your child up to join our Junior Curlers, please complete the Junior Curling Application and provide a VOID cheque for PAP to Tami Fisher at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
What Do We Need To Bring To Each Session?
The only piece of equipment your child needs to bring is a helmet. Anyone 12 years of age and under is required to wear one on the ice, but we encourage all our juniors to wear one. It can be a hockey, bicycle, skateboard, or a helmet of another type. The Club will provide a brush, grippers, and a step slider for them to use while they are at the Club.
We also suggest the Little and Wee Rockers also wear loosely fitting athletic clothing. They may wear non-loged sweatpants while they are on the ice. Blue jeans are not permitted on the ice but may be worn in the Curling Lounge.
Volunteers Needed
Love getting involved with your child's sports? We will need the enthusiasm and assistance of volunteers through-out the year! Whether on or off the ice, from pouring hot chocolate to helping organize our Junior's New Year's and closing parties, we can always use the help of volunteers to ensure the program's success.
